You wouldn\u2019t just spend a few hundred euros on something you\u2019re giving away for free, would you? That\u2019s not a good deal at all. It seems more like a waste of your hard-earned money! However, we\u2019re convinced that it\u2019s worth more than it costs\u2014even in tough economic times. Why? Read on below.       <\/p>\n<h2>Marketing Value-Added<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Showing Appreciation to Your Client<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Your client<\/strong> visits you (on average) every 6 weeks for a treatment. When you look at this on an annual basis, it adds up to a significant amount. A small token of appreciation is a great way to show your client that you value them. Your client will certainly appreciate it as well.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Customer Loyalty<\/strong> When you offer your client a small gift, they\u2019re more likely to return to you to book another treatment. This helps you generate revenue for the future. After all, a satisfied client is more likely to book a follow-up treatment.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Cheaper than advertising<\/strong><br \/>\nAn average ad in a local magazine or newspaper can easily cost hundreds of euros, and you often get very little response from it. An investment in promotional gifts really pays off more than those ads! <\/p>\n<p><strong>An easy way to introduce your new product<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you give a miniature sample as a promotional gift, it\u2019s a great way <strong>to<\/strong> introduce a new product or treatment to your customers. Once they\u2019ve used up the miniature and liked the product, they\u2019ll go on to purchase a larger package. That way, you\u2019ll earn revenue not only from the treatment but also from product sales.  <\/p>\n<h2>Here are a few more tips:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Set up a budget throughout the year<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you set aside \u20ac0.50 or \u20ac1.00 from each treatment all year long, you\u2019ll have built up a nice little nest egg by the end of the year. This way, the customer is essentially paying for their own little gift, and you don\u2019t have to make a separate investment because you\u2019ve already saved up the money. <\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Include a discount coupon<\/strong><br \/>\nThings are often a bit slower at the salon in the period after the holidays. To ensure your schedule stays full during these months, you could include a discount coupon with your client gift or offer a free treatment upgrade that\u2019s only valid during a specific (quieter) period. This way, you\u2019ll continue to attract customers even after the busy season and, at the same time, increase the likelihood that they\u2019ll return to your salon.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Personalize a gift<\/strong><br \/>\nCustomers always appreciate a <strong>gift<\/strong> just a little more when they see that time has been put into it\u2014for example, with a personal note or a few words of goodwill. If you have a lot of different customers, you could also limit this to your regular customers as a special gesture of appreciation for them. <\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Get active on social media<\/strong><br \/>\nIs your December schedule still a little light? Make the most of social media! For example, post on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to let people know that every customer who books a treatment in December will receive a free gift.
